How did the Ghoul Groove Podcast and concept come alive????
Well, it's the classic story of two internet friends,
except they weren't bonding over boy bands, they were bonding over Halloween!
Lauren was (and currently is) running a Halloween TikTok/Instagram page [@halloweenisonafriday]
and followed Chrissy one random day, then got a follow back!
A year later, Lauren noticed that Chrissy attended a Stranger Things pop-up in her hometown & decided to reach out to her, only to find out that they lived a couple miles apart from each other this whole time...
Funny how that works ;)
After noticing how close they lived to each other, Lauren took the risk and invited Chrissy to her Halloween party that year and the rest is history!
Once they realized how many similar interests they shared, such as music, ghost hunting,
and all things Halloween, their so-called absurd conversations turned into recordings that are now available for everyone to hear!

My name is Lauren.
If you have listened to our podcast before you may know a bit about me but if you haven't here is a little more :)
Growing up, I did ballet and eventually even moved to Florida to go to a ballet boarding school at the age of 15.
After graduating, I joined Texas Ballet Theater and danced in their professional ballet company for 4 years.
That being said, music has always been a big part of my life and I have been going to concerts from the age of where I can hardly remember some of them haha! My favorite genres and decades of music include; 80 new wave, 70's and 80's rock, and 90's grunge.
Funny story on how I got into spooky stuff though actually!
For my 7th birthday, my aunt gifted me the Coraline 3D DVD and the rest is history! That movie started my love of claymation movies and spooky things in general <3
